Ron & Lynn purchased the store (Destiny Bay Grocers) in early 2017.  Within a very short time, a lot of elbow grease and pure hard work, the store re-opened in May 2017 with a bright and clean new look.  Serving the communities of Sanca, Destiny Bay and Boswell as well the numerous travelers, tourists and seasonal residents the store offers you a one stop convenience market.

The store carries a full line of grocery items, baking supplies, health and beauty aids, confections, dairy, meat (locally grown Kootenay River Beef), bottled water, soft drinks, juices, ice, cold beer, ciders, a large selection of wine, liquor and tobacco products.  During the summer months we carry fresh local produce including all the basic fruit and vegetables.

We also featured local artists, crafters and hobbyist with a great selection of unique items available on sale throughout the year.  There is a modest inventory of fishing and camping supplies too.

We continue to provide fresh baking, including fresh bread and buns, world famous butter tarts, a variety of squares and ready to bake pies which are prepared at the resort kitchen.

2018 saw numerous interior renovations that fixed many of the old infrastructure issues and the store is now perfectly climate controlled and comfortable for both staff and shoppers. 

The store accepts all major credit cards, cash and offers fair exchange on US currency.  We also offer various delivery options and accept payment by e-transfer.
