The resort is situated on approximately 4 acres with 850 feet of  lake frontage.  The grounds have a blend of natural growth, manicured rock and perennial gardens as well as colossal conifers intertwined with native and non-native shrubs and fruit bearing trees. The natural flat rock harvested from along the shoreline has been used to create remarkable walkways and landscape boarders as well as the beautiful retaining walls some of which have been in place for over 80 years.

The main lodge of the resort which is a three storey structure houses three separate guests units, staff accommodation and maintenance areas on the lower two levels. The dining room, reception area and gift shop are located on the upper level.

The cottages at Destiny Bay Resort are charming as much for their light floral and polished cedar interiors as for their delightful sod roofed exteriors.  Grace notes abound:  a dried flower arrangement hangs from the rafters; a handful of smooth sea pebbles rests on the mantelpiece. Each room and cottage is furnished with private bath and shower, a small refrigerator, coffee and tea maker, a sitting area and private deck or terrace.

Open for the
2008 season
from May 15th to
September 15th!

As the resort  is situated in a naturally forested area it is extremely difficult to provide
a colored photograph to depict the layout of the property.  This artist's conceptual etching offers greater detail of the resort by eliminating many of the large trees and shrubs that exist.  The terraced property is separated from the highway and front (upper) parking area by a very dense and mature cedar hedge.   Guest parking is located adjacent to each individual cottage. The cottages are separated by mature conifers and shrubs that provide privacy and solitude.
